Design Techniques
Having finished various textile courses and purchased a variety of books over the last few years, 3 of us have decided to meet up at least once a month, to try and keep our interests going.
none of us are very confident about designing so we though this would be the best place to start.
We decided we would find our subject, what interested us about it, was it shapes, patterns, colours or textures, or maybe places we like to visit.
next stage take photos, make notes and sketches and ask what surfaces do we want to achieve.
Next experiment with colours, this should keep me busy till Ally Pally
